Environgentle

There's a store nearby that I like to go to called Environgentle, which sells the coolest things! Going in there is like going into Trader Joe's for the first time - you just don't know what you'll find! And it's so much fun. Everything is environmentally friendly, and I just love looking around. Whenever I'm in Encinitas, I try and make a stop there! There's also another store called My Organic House in Carlsbad that is supposedly similar (seems to focus more on home items rather than misc) and I want to try and go there soon too!

Here are some images from my last time at Environgentle :)

Thanks for the info….I am trying to put together a list of what celebs are doing to help the environment. Ed Begley Jr. is having a sweepstakes where he flys you to Hollywood and gives you tips on how to go green ( http://www.earthlab.com/life/livingwithed/ ) Pretty crazy stuff. Obviously there are many others. Drop me a link if you have any on the top of your head. Thanks again for the info!

I was just there (at Envirogentle) a few weeks ago! Cool, funky shop :) Picked up some shampoo & bar soap. They have lots of brands you usually can't find in stores. Thanks for sharing about the other store in Carlsbad, I'll have to check it out!

Good post, we have a few shops like that in my area. It makes sense to go green. I came upon this fact By line drying half of their washloads, an average family can save 720 pounds of carbon dioxide in a year.

What an interesting looking store! I love eclectic shops like that. Sooo much better than shopping at big chains like Walmart.
